A lot of the Power FM staff got to attend, and we always have a good time hanging out together outside of "work." We also got to see and talk to a lot of familar faces and listeners! Family Force 5 kicked off the show and had everyone dancing and getting old-school. They even had Daffy Duck and Bugs Bunny join in the party...those dudes can get down!!! Then Hawk Nelson took the stage (cue all the girls screaming!), and pop-punked it out. I love it when they bust out the kazoos! And finally Flyleaf entered the scene singing "I Love you Lord (and I lift my voice)" which quickly turned into a full-on rock fest! Lacey completely blows me away...she's so tiny, but man...she can certainly hold her own! Flyleaf was amazing! Lacey told the crowd how her first job was right there at Six Flags, as one of those photographers you run into right inside the gates. Funny how things turn out.
It was a fantastic night of friends, rock 'n' roll and Jesus!

That concert was amazing. The spirit was there so strong. It was amazing. I had just drivin into town from seeing Flyleaf in Hidalgo the night before. If anyone wants to see about the Flyeaf trip I blogged it at flyleaforbust.blogspot.com
I thought I saw some of you guys there!!! The concert was awesome! I was so excited to see FF5! My pics did not turn out as well as you guys, but...what an amazing line up!!! I def. saw some Power FM T-shirts. My friend wore her pink Power FM t-shirt! There is something unexplainable that happens when all these Christ followers join and worship Him in spirit and in song. :)
My best friends all went to the concert and said it was so cool. Most of them saw the one on Friday but one saw the one on Saturday. He said it was incredible and from what I heard of flyleaf on the phone it was!
