The Afters at Best Buy

I got to take the newly wrapped Powermobile out to Best Buy on Friday to see The Afters perform an in-store concert. It was a pretty neat little set up, inside the store, back in the corner. We took Preston along with us, and not only was he excited about the Powermobile being all cool looking, he was also excited about going to a concert! He talked about it for hours before we got there!

The Afters were great, playing lots of new stuff from their album that just released called Never Going Back to OK. It was a very intimate and personal show. It was really nice to catch up with the guys. My husband was in cub scouts with Josh (lead singer) when they were kids and my mother-in-law was their leader...so they go way back! Preston had so much fun running around with the other kids there (most of them belonging to the guys in the band - I think they have a total of 9 between 'em!). Also, Miss Avery Grace (Andi's daughter) got to experience her first concert! She was really impressed with music, I think. I think it was cool, because Preston's first concert was an Afters show as well! Very fitting.

I love The Afters! It's always a great time seeing them in concert.
